I love to make stuff!

Natalie Nicholas / “Nat Nick” is a nonbinary, multimedia designer living in Los Angeles. While combining their love of theater and video, Nicholas toes the line between the weird, the grotesque, and the heart-wrenching. Utilizing skills in woodworking and electronics, Nicholas is inspired by bringing old and new technologies together to make something new.

Their work is both heartfelt and macabre.  Incorporating video design, clown, and fabrication, their work pushes back on society’s view of normalcy.  

Nicholas is pursuing an MFA at CalArts with a métier in Interactive Media for Performance and a concentration in Integrated Media.   They have worked with experimental theater companies like Theater MITU and Phantom Limb Company.
